Tough Love Studio is a custom tattoo studio in Minneapolis, MN, founded by Joel David McClure in 2007. After a temporary relocation to Sweden in 2013-2014, Tough Love Studio reopened in South Minneapolis as Joel's private art studio, operating on an appointment only basis. Just like our previous MN locations, Joel visualized and designed the current space, turning it from a blank slate into a sleek, modern tattoo studio that our customers appreciate and have come to expect from Tough Love Studio.

No matter the style (color, black-and-grey, new school, traditional, portraiture, cover-ups, etc.), Tough Love Studio takes pride in giving you a one-of-a-kind tattoo, completely unique and created specifically for you. As a fully custom tattoo studio, we prefer to work on an appointment basis.

Fine Art Gallery
